Abstract

In the article literature data concerning the problem of role of cerebro- and cardiovascular pathologies in development of asymptomatic brain damages are discussed. An integrated analysis of results of numerous population studies allowed formation of a clear scheme of levels of significance for certain vascular pathologies and their combinations from the point of view of hazard of the development of silent brain infarcts and white matter lesions.
