Abstract

The data of studies of cytokine status in patients with COPD with hypertension disease have been presented. Increase in the level of tumor necrosis factor-alpha and interleukin-18, which have a pro-inflammatory effect, and decrease in the activity of anti-inflammatory interleukin-10 have been determined in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. The presence of hypertension disease aggravated the immune-inflammatory reactions in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
