Abstract
The association of galectin-3, P-selectin and growth differentiation factor-15 plasma levels with age and gender have determined in patients with arterial hypertension and diabetes mellitus type 2. No significant interaction was observed between the tested biomarkers and gender. According to the data of correlation and regression analyzes, a reliable interrelation between the levels of P-selletin and the growth differentiation factor-15 in the blood plasma of patients with age has been established.
