Abstract

In some cases, there are difficulties in the interpretation of pre-neoplastic processes of the bladder mucosa and their significance. The purpose of this article was to identify the morphological features of pre-neoplastic lesions of the bladder mucosa. Materials and methods. To achieve this goal, we studied the sectional material of women suffering from alcoholism, who did not seek medical care about the pathology of the genitourinary system. As a result of the work, it was established that out of 13 cases only in 4 cases it can be detected that the bladder has an unchanged structure, in 6 cases there is reactive flat urothelial hyperplasia, in 2 cases mucosal dysplasia, 1 case of leukoplakia. Conclusion. The group of conditions related to the transformation of the mucous membrane of the bladder is morphologically and genetically heterogeneous. The threat of progression to a malignant process requires adequate management of such patients.
